Take A Leap of Faith

Hello, everyone! Allow me to share something out of the ordinary..

Few days ago, I took a HUGE leap of "faith" and got myself a tattoo. I've always wanted to have one. But when my sister and I got to the tattoo parlor, I got sooo nervous, I was having cold sweats and dead-cold hands (lol). It's probably cause its my first time and I don't know how much it would hurt. lol

My super-nervous face...and ice-cold hands :| eew

Hm.. It wasn't really bad as I thought it would be.. ;)

I'm actually okay with needles being inserted or punctured once through my skin (like in laboratory tests etc), but the thought of a needle being punctured to me a million times per second got me all queasy and panicky (swear, for a minute I thought I was gonna faint! lol) yes, I'm a coward. You can say it. Hahaha

The process took less than 10 minutes, thank God! Although it wasn't bad as I thought it would be. After this, I can't explain my happiness! Like, I've finally done something I never thought I could! I'm so proud of myself. <3 This is definitely just a first of many tats to come. ;)

People ask me, "Why 'faith' when there are a million other words you can use?" I just tell them that this word is powerful to me. It's like a reminder to always have faith in everything. Faith in God and Jesus. Faith that everything I am and will be going through will lead me to my dreams and aspirations. And Faith that no matter what I encounter in life, I will always be guided to take the right path. I just think it's a beautiful word over all, that's all. <3

Yes, folks, it's back! 

Seen frequently during the Paris Fashion Week this year, it's all about Gladiator sandals. Famous brands like Chloé, Isabel Marant, Valentino, and Stella McCartney (to name a few) have showcased their inner bohemian and warrior-like sandals. Personally, I prefer the warrior-like ones. They look good on everything you pair them with. 

Although these sandals have become a great hit years before, and we thought that, "Oh, it's just a phase, it will end soon", well, they never really did because even though their "big hit" have passed, people still keep wearing them. Their style, through the years, just got modernized. The straps have become thinner, and they are less stocky compared to its past designs.

Sooo, remember when I said I did some shopping and couldn't wait to show you what I bought? well, here they are, my very own Glads! My sister and I went on a hunt for these sandals and couldn't find one that has my size or fits my liking. I used to have a pair or two but they we're too over-worn to function! And alas! Found them in Forever 21! I fell in love with them the minute I saw them, and they were totally, totally cheap! What a bargain! <3

Off-shoulder tops and dresses are also a hype nowadays. They give such a summer vibe (though it's no longer summer time, I know). But they're too comfy to wear so why wait for the next summer or get bummed up that it's over when you can wear it anytime! I absolutely love how you get to show some skin but still look demure and decent. Am I right? Oooh, I'd love to know what you think! Tell me! <3

Hello, everyone! How have you all been?

Me, I finally got the chance to visit my sister here in Manila. I've been wanting to but school and internship got in the way, so I never got the chance. But now I have! Yay!

For a day spent strolling around the mall, I decided to wear something comfortable yet still chic, and what's more comfortable than a crop top paired with a skirt? It's perfect, especially when you have to run around chasing little kids! ;) haha And I did a little shopping, too! I can't wait to show you guys what I bought! Soon! :D
